Hi all. This is my first of the hat-trick recipes of this month. This month's theme is going to be chocolate / coco. Because what better way to drive away monsoon blues, but chocolate!
Chocolate inspires, chocolate mends a broken heart and
chocolate keeps you going. And if you can get the much needed choco-dose in just
2 minutes, what can get better? Midnight cravings or early morning pangs, this
one is extremely effective ;) And this one is amazingly popular with kids. They
love to dig into a cup that holds gooey chocolate cake soaked in chocolate
sauce instead of milk. It also makes a great gift , handmade but without
slogging for hours together in the kitchen. What say? Want to sink your teeth
in this sinful treat? So, let’s get started! I found this recipe at 2 minute eggless chocolate cake and made few additions like chocolate sauce and colourful sprinkle.
Ingredients:
3 tbsp maida /
All purpose flour
1.5 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tbsp + few for garnish - chocolate chips
1.5 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

3 tbsp milk
¼ tsp vanilla essence
1/8 tsp - baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
3 tbsp oil – neutral cooking oil

3-4 tbsp
chocolate sauce (I used Hershey’s)
Method:
1.
Sieve maida and cocoa powder.
2.
In a microwave safe mug add maida, cocoa powder,
sugar salt, baking soda and chocolate chips. Mix well using a small whisk or a
fork.
3.
Add
oil, milk and vanilla essence. Combine everything making sure there are no
lumps. The batter should be smooth.
4.
Microwave
uncovered on high power for 2 minutes. And allow to cool.
5.
Pour
chocolate sauce and garnish with choco-chips and colourful sprinkles.
And
now, dig in and watch your spirits uplifted!
